3 Reasons to Avoid websites like Teepublic As Print On Demand Designer
today i talk about three reasons why you should really avoid uploading designs to TeePublic, it might be different for you but i didn't have much luck on TeePublic.
actually i start to have some luck on TeePublic but i still think it is a website Like TeePublic that you should avoid, if you want to build a sustainable and profitable print-on-demand business
the first reason to avoid websites like TeePublic
when you sign up to TeePublic it used to be different in the past but if you're signing up now or if you have signed up probably in the last six months then chances are that you don't get access to the marketplace so your designs will not show up on the marketplace and one i had the same issue i signed up,
my designs could not be found on the marketplace i tried everything i watched every youtube video tried all the things i recommended but still my designs don't show up i sent an email to their support i received this email back basically telling me nothing yeah so they just say we appreciate how much work goes into each design due to legal or creative reasons your design will not show up in the search or on the new or browse areas.
now there is basically there no chance for me to get my designs to show up on the marketplace of TeePublic now the problem is i don't get the point that it's due to creative reasons because honestly on the TeePublic website there are so many designs that have just been taken from creative fabrica that have just been taken from vexes
for example there are three peoples uploading the same design you know there are just simple text based designs there's no reason why these designs should show up on the marketplace but actually designs with a graphic that you put work in do not,
i know a lot of people have the same problem but it's not only me i know a lot of people have and you can see that on the search traffic when people look for these kinds of solutions on youtube but apparently when i read through all these comments on these videos these advice that many people give possibly just to get clicks they don't really help.
i've heard of nobody who's really had success getting onto the marketplace and it is just very strange and they are not very transparent which is the first reason why i think you should avoid TeePublic because eventually you don't want to upload just spend all that time and then your designs don't show up on the marketplace and it's just not great now.
the second reason to avoid websites like TeePublic
is that actually just ban accounts they ban accounts for no reason and i've heard that so many times of people starting an account and uploading a few designs and then just had their account banned because for no reason without any explanation,
it happened to me as well i do have my account still with them but my second account has been banned and it is strange because my first account actually runs on my business my business address it's a limited company so that still is up and running and i've been uploading to TeePublic for six months, but my second account that actually was in my private name on my private address completely different legal entity basically i uploaded 30 designs and they just banned me without prior warning no you know the designs weren't copied from anywhere designs from the first account the second one were entirely different actually to the second one i uploaded really high quality designs and they just banned me.
this was again not one-off i know of many people who also comment from my youtube channel and on other youtube channels that people just get their accounts banned for no reason and this is a huge risk especially on redbubble and TeePublic these two companies are related in redbubble,
a lot of people have problems signing up and getting their account banned and TeePublic is no different it might even be worse and they are so in transparent i even emailed them back at the time and didn't get a response no response at all and that just shows how they care for their artists they don't really care for them at all,
the third reason to avoid websites like TeePublic
is that they just take designs down and they don't even give you a reply so i had my design taken down it was just a text-based design with a ''no pain no gain" slogan that is not a trademarked slogan and it also said more than just no pain no gain there was also a graphic with it it was not just a text-based design there was something else on it apparently just a fitness studio where gym basically they launched an intellectual property claim they filed that on TeePublic so that caused them just to take my design down completely ridiculous it's not trademarked they don't have any trademark for it,
i checked it all I know the name of the company who filed this claim they don't have anything you know that could show that they have actually any right to do this now well so i received this email from TeePublic they took it down it frustrated me because it means that something is on your account right so they will have something locked against your account so they said,
if you believe this was a mistake or want to file a counter claim please don't hesitate to reply to this email now i replied to this email a week ago guys it's the 23rd of june now on the 15th of june this was taken down i haven't had any reply, i replied to this email i said
i believe it's a mistake can you send me more information and i haven't had anything any reply it is ridiculous you know if things like these happen and you really run a business and you rely on this you can't wait for a week for a company to reply to you it's just ridiculous and i'm i've given up actually hope that they will reply,
you know the support for their their artists that or partners that sell on their website it is not good quality communication and this is not a company i want to work with now what i need to say actually it's actually made it's actually been my best month in TeePublic so far so even though i still believe my designs don't show up on TeePublic i have made three sales this month and i don't understand why i've now,
have google analytics it doesn't really tell me a lot it just shows that there's a mix of organic direct and search traffic but it doesn't really tell me which websites really it comes but still you know i will continue to upload to TeePublic i believe i make all my sales via google i think they show up on google,
